The Feast of Saints Peter and Paul is a liturgical feast in honour of the martyrdom in Rome of the apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul, which is observed on 29 June, and celebrated in Israel on July 12th, and July 13th.

The feast is celebrated in Capernaum on the Sea of Galilee (celebrated July 12th). The Feast of the Twelve Apostles is celebrated in the Church of the Apostles in Tiberias (celebrated July 13th).

Old Jaffa where Peter came from Lydda to raise Tabitha from the dead (Acts 9:36-42), and where the apostle stayed at the house of Simon the Tanner.
Caesarea where St. Peter baptizes the first man that is not a Jew, and it is from Caesarea where the message of the Lord is first introduced to the Gentiles. Paul was captured and imprisoned by the Romans, and after two years in prison he sails from Caesarea to his country Tarsus.
